Cu-HTGD3 is a high tensile electrodeposited copper foil. With this copper foil, it is possible to load much more active materials with high strength properties, contributing to the minimization of deformation at the time of battery charge and discharge by maintaining strength after heat treatment.
Typical applications are next generation Lithium-ion batteries used typically for EV, especially for pouch cell types as the high tensile properties of Cu-HTGD3 foil will prevent deformation of cells with higher number of stacks.
